Vive La Food!

Winner of the Best of Best Film Award, 2009 Tucson Slow Food & Film Festival

"Then came the two best movies. The first was "Vive La Food,'' by Raphael Hitzke, a funny, wise 13-minute profile of two French chefs in Sacramento"

Peter J. Genovese - June 16, 2009

short synopsis

Fun and mouthwatering portrait of two French Chefs who have settled in Sacramento, California (Daniel Pont from La Bonne Soupe & William Rolle from Cafe Rolle).

Highlights of how they trained, how they struggled to become who they are today.

The film also explores their philosophy and style of cooking and how they are running their one-man operation.

We hear from their customers about what brings them to these restaurants instead of going to a chain restaurant.
